Join us at the Back Forty Beef Adventure Farm for family-friendly fun! Get up close with farm animals, play family-friendly games, jump into the corn box, crawl through the hay tunnel, have unique picture-taking opportunities, and dine at local food trucks. Explore the 12-acre corn maze, visit checkpoints, and collect special offers from area businesses.

After all the playing is done, stop by our farm shop on the way out to purchase some of our homegrown beef, pumpkins, and gourds from area growers, Stensland Ice-cream, and so much more from other local vendors.

Introducing the corn maze!

Sponsored in part by the South Dakota Beef Industry Council, the “Beef Experience Corn Maze” features 12 acres of twisting, turning corn fun. Use your phone (we have paper maps too 😉) to navigate the maze and “check in” at check points. Earn rewards from local businesses at the checkpoints and learn more about beef from our fast facts through-out.

Directions

From Pierpont - Go south on Highway 27 for 4 miles. Turn left and go east on 134th Street for 3.5 miles.

From Bristol - Go north on County Road 33 for 6 miles and then turn left on 134th Street for a half mile.

From Andover - continue on Highway 12 east for 1.5 miles and turn left on the curve to continue on 12A. At the stop sign, turn left and go north on Highway 27 for 2 miles. Turn right and go east on 134th Street for 3.5 miles.

Corn Maze

The 12 acre corn maze is an interactive experience for the entire family. The 2024 maze designed will be announced this summer!
Straw Mountain

Straw Mountain includes a gigantic slide with tunnels and plenty of climbing for the kids to burn some energy.
Corn Pit

Play in the corn bin and keep your kids busy for hours!
Farm Animals

Get up close with goats, calves, horses, and ponies.
Duck Races

Challenge your family to a duck race!
Roping

Test out your ranching skills on the roping dummy.
Farm Basketball

Take a shot at the grain cart basketball game.
Food Trucks

Enjoy a featured local food truck every weekend of operation.

When all the fun is done shop the Farm Store. Many local items featured including pumpkins and our own homegrown beef.
